We are (2008) 104 Guilds with a total of 3.400 Members in 8 districts:
Vienna, N.Ö. South east,/north/west, O.Ö., Salzburg-Tyrol, Vorarlberg and
Styria-Carinthia-Burgenland
Offers, Services and activities
- Activities on International-,National- and district level.
- Annual events:
National Guild meetings (every 3 years with a general assembly) and regional meetings,
European Forum Großarl/Salzburg, Family Scouting,
International meetings and visits to other Guilds abroad. (twinning)
- Coordination of social engagements domestic and abroad.
- "Aktion 100" is a fund in case of emergencies
- Participation on National and International camps and other events of the Scout & Guide Organisation.
- "Gilde Café" as meeting point on camps.
- Seminars for Guild masters and prospective ones
- Brochures and advertising material
- Support and material for new Guilds is essential for us.
- Annual awards for outstanding Guild activities in the areas of cultural-, social-activities and support to the youth organisation are offered.
- Each member gets our official magazine Gildeweg
four times a year.
- Our office is at the Pfadfindermuseum und Institut für Pfadfindergeschichte
