Our age brackets

Children experience games and adventures that are appropriate to their age. As youths, they can contribute their own ideas into group endeavors and projects.

Brownies and Cubs learn by playing

Wichtel and Wölflinge (aged 7 - 10)

Our youngest members are called "Wichtel" (Brownies, girls) and "Wölflinge" (Cubs, boys). In a playful setting, they develop their young personality, while discovering their skills and talents.

Guides and Scouts gain experience

Guides and Späher (aged 10 - 13)

"Guides" (girls) and "Späher" (Scouts, boys) assume responsibilities within a small team, recognizing their own qualities and contributing these to the group. The adventures they enjoy during outdoor camps and hikes, offer the girls and boys experiences that will leave a lasting impression on them.

Caravelles and Explorers develop and mature

Caravelles and Explorers (aged 13 - 16)

Caravelles (girls) and Explorers (boys) gather together in small groups that reflect their personal interests. Contributing their own ideas, these young people work more and more independently as they plan and implement their projects.

Rangers and Rovers make their own decisions

Rangers and Rovers (aged 16 - 20)

Rangers (girls) and Rovers (boys) focus on a broad variety of group projects which they have chosen on their own. They are preparing themselves for their future role as responsible, engaged members of society.
